Class Sessions

The Australian Academy of Commerce offers morning, afternoon and evening class sessions. This is intended to give students flexibility in attendance to suit other commitments. All overseas students are required to attend 5 class sessions (20 contact hours) per week to maintain satisfactory attendance and also to meet course progress requirements and ensure the completion of each qualification within the duration of the course. If an overseas student wishes to work while their course is in session, they are required to apply to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship for a visa with appropriate work rights, after they have commenced their studies in Australia. Students who have been granted work rights are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week while their course is in session. Students’ attendance records will be monitored in the classrooms only.
