The qualification

This qualification applies to individuals with a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing and communication and who demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams.

Job competencies

This course has been designed for people who want to work within an organisation’s marketing and communication team or department. It is also suitable for candidates planning to establish their own company as a small business proprietor or work in a managerial capacity within an organisation. Candidates will learn how to evaluate marketing opportunities and interpret marketing trends and developments, establish and adjust the marketing mix, develop a marketing communications plan and plan social media engagement, implement a marketing solution and review marketing performance as well as develop general managerial skills.
