INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Studying in Australia is an exciting experience, and we are committed to supporting you throughout your journey. As an international student, you are protected under the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework, which ensures that you receive high-quality education and the support services you need to succeed. The ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 outline your rights and responsibilities while studying in Australia.

Our Student Services Team is available to provide guidance on adjusting to life in Australia, understanding your visa conditions, and accessing essential resources.

Living in Australia

Australia is known for its diverse and inclusive society, excellent education system, and world-class student experience. As an international student, you will have access to high-quality learning facilities, stunning landscapes, and a welcoming community.

Before arriving, it is important to familiarise yourself with Australian laws and regulations that apply to international students, including:

  • Maintaining your enrolment and complying with visa requirements as set by the Department of Home Affairs.

  • Understanding your work limitations as an international student.

  • Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is mandatory for the duration of your studies.

For further details, visit the Australian Government’s Study in Australia website.
