Our IELTS Preparation courses are designed for students who have successfully completed an Intermediate-level English course or are preparing for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test. COURSE FEES
ELICOS students must pay an upfront fee of $1,300 AUD, which includes $1,100 AUD for approximately 5 weeks of tuition and a $200 AUD application fee. The remaining tuition fees are divided into two installments to be paid during the course of study.
LEVELS
UPPER INTERMEDIATE
The Upper-intermediate IELTS Preparation course provides students with the opportunity to successfully be accepted into Australian or other English-speaking countries’ higher education institutions. The course follows a range of prescribed themes and skills which follow a core-text and is supplemented with real-life IELTS experiences. Our highly experienced IELTS teachers teach in a Communicative Language Teaching style to help students reach their potential when describing personal experiences. Even though Grammar is not officially tested, we never lose focus on teaching this skill, as the better the grammar, the better the overall band score. Both Academic and General Training IELTS is delivered in the one class, giving those who wish to become Australian citizens the opportunity to do so. Please remember that our course does not issue official IELTS band scores, as these can only be obtained after sitting for an official IELTS test at an official IELTS Test centre.

The Advanced IELTS Preparation course provides students with the opportunity to successfully be accepted into Australian or other English-speaking countries’ universities and tertiary institutions. Prescribed themes and skills are supplemented with real-life IELTS experiences to help students reach their potential and achieve their stated goals. Our highly experienced IELTS teachers teach in a Communicative Language Teaching style to help students reach new heights when describing personal experiences and we pride ourselves in enabling students to reach near-native like proficiency. Even though Grammar is not officially tested, we never lose focus on teaching this skill, as the better the grammar, the better the overall band score. Both Academic and General Training IELTS is delivered in the one class, giving all the opportunity to expand their skill set and expand their horizon. This course is also recommended for professionals who wish to join official industry associations in Australia or indeed obtain Australian citizenship. Please remember that our course does not issue official IELTS band scores, as these can only be obtained after sitting for an official IELTS test at an official IELTS Test centre.
